Man are a rock band from Wales whose style is a mixture of American West Coast psychedelia, progressive rock, and blues. Formed in November 1968 as a reincarnation of Welsh rock harmony group the Bystanders, Man are renowned for the extended jams in their live performances.

Man first started off at the end of the sixties, called it a day towards the end of the seventies, then in the early eighties realized they could do nothing better than get together again. They have been through more lineups than you can shake a stick at, with various members coming and going at a rate which gives Pete Frame nightmares. (Pete loved Deke's books, by the way). Micky, Martin and Deke have pretty much been the core of the Manband, though a while back Terry Williams had another spell after John (Pugwash) Weathers had kept the drum stool warm for a few years; and Phil Ryan returned for a brief period after a 20 year hiatus.

The award winning Blues Rock Guitarist, Luke Doherty, started playing Festivals when he was twelve years old, and 10 years later, he hasn’t looked back. After achieving a Rock School first, 2 grade 8’s by the age of 11, it lead to many Newspaper and Radio interviews. While Luke was Ploughing his was through his grades, he was encouraged to record his version of Parisian Walkways of which Gary Moore had a copy. Luke has gone on to play numerous Festivals, Blues Clubs and Music Venues up and down the Country, including the Legendary Cambridge Rock Festival, 100 club London and Upton Blues Festival, to name a few.

Luke is never happier than when he is playing Blues. It all started when he was 7 years old and he found an old music VHS in a cupboard featuring several Blues players. He was enthralled with the playing of Eric Clapton and B.B King, both of which he was extremely honoured to meet a few years later. Over time he also met the great Peter Green, Jeff Healey and Andy Fairweather-Low, and John Mayell which enlightened his passion for Blues even more.
Luke has been truly blessed to share the stage with many fine Blues rock artists including, Ansley Lister, Danny Bryant, Virgil and the Accelerators, Connie Lush, Mike Estes of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Skinny Molly, As well as the Legendary Buddy Whittington, who told the crowd when Luke was on stage with him “This is how the Blues should be played”.

2015 was an exciting time for Luke and his band with the release of their all originals album “Six Strings and a Stetson”. The album has been played all around the world and to rave reviews. With such enthusiasm from the public about the album it has propelled them to go back into the studio to start on another long awaited second all original album, which they hope will be available very soon.

Luke is very fortunate to have the backing of such accomplished musicians in his band, such as:-

The legendary Paul Morgan on vocals and harp, who has shared the stage with Dr Feelgood, Deep Purple, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown to name a few.

Simon Parratt, who has recently obtained a BMus (hons) degree in jazz. His jazz and hard rock influence gives their songs an edge, which makes their songs stand out in the crowd and gives them a little twist. Throughout his musical career Simon has done lots of session work and recording for many Blues, Classic Rock and Jazz bands.

Ant Biggs has been playing bass for many years and toured the world with Cajun Rockers Folk band The Butter Mountain Boys, who received international Musician and Recording Artist of the Year and Arts Council Musician in Residence, with one album charting at number 17, which lead to many Radio and TV appearances throughout the 80s and 90s retiring from music 1995, Ant came out of musical retirement to join the band and to playing Blues with Luke in May 2014.
Thr3e “These guys are the rock fans favourite blues band and the blues fans favourite rock band”. So read a 2016 review of the band’s debut album “30 Day Hop” and the guys in Thr3e could not have put it any better themselves. Powerhouse blues rock songs, written by the band and performed with energy, feeling and passion. That is Thr3e. A style firmly rooted in 60s/70s British blues but with influences ranging widely from the old blues originals to more recent US and British rock and blues, Thr3e do not try to fit in to any “genre”. They just write great songs about what happens in their world and play them from the heart. Twin guitarists bouncing licks off each other and with tight vocal harmonies to boot. Originally formed as a trio of guitarist/singer/songwriter Steve Woodward, bassist Rob Butterfield and drummer Pete Castle, Thr3e released their debut album “30 Day Hop” at the end of 2015. They added guitarist/singer/songwriter Carlos Linnet in 2016, doubling the band’s vocal and guitar power. Rik King now completes the line-up on bass and vocals for the foreseeable future. A few live shows are booked for 2017/18 with more to be confirmed, and the band is already writing songs for a second album planned for 2018. If you like it bluesy, hard edged yet still musical, then you’ll love this!

Formed in 2011, SKAM are a hard rock power trio band from the middle of England. They have a reputation for delivering no nonsense, gutsy, classic sounding British rock music. To mark the release of "Conspiracy" White Raven Down released their second MUSIC VIDEO to their track "Salvation" which was premiered by New Noise Magazine and again has been met with an overwhelming response with over 18k views. This has been quite the year for the four piece band so far with people being unable to pigeon hole their exact place in the broad rock spectrum..... All we all know is that it kicks ass!!

A female guitar prodigy, at fourteen Chantel was told by major labels that she had a "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!" Wisely ignoring the comments, she enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18 distinctions. Chantel left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, the college’s musician of the year award.

In previous years, Chantel stepped out in the pro-musician world and her stunning live performances demonstrated that she had the ability to perform rock for the new age, played by a musician born with an effortless virtuosity. Since then, she has built a loyal and growing fan base who follow her every move.

If you measure an artist’s prospects by the company they keep, then Chantel has been moving in the right direction. Early in her career, Chantel was invited to perform with Joe Bonamassa, on two of his UK tours.

When Chantel released her 2011 debut album, Like No Other, one critic said, “Chantel McGregor deserves to be held up as a messiah of blues-rock and given her own mountain. She doesn't strum or pick her guitar but almost bends and distorts it, as if she's channelling the ghost of Hendrix through her fingers"

The album was produced by Livingstone Brown, whose production credits include Ed Sheeran, Robin Trower, and Shakira. The end result was a beautifully crafted debut album that showcased Chantel’s versatility and talent as a singer-songwriter.

Chantel’s follow up album, Like Control, again produced by Livingstone Brown, was released in October 2015 to critical acclaim.

All About Rock’s review of the album said:
'The album in its entirety has a common theme running through of gothic imagery which makes it almost a concept album but each track stands out on its own. Chantel’s double tracked vocals are amazingly tight & the production on this album sounds loose which is a compliment to Livingstone Brown & Chantel who have obviously spent a lot of time on the arrangements. The girl can obviously shred but she does so in a very understated & despite the title of the album, a controlled way. Recommended for fans of blues, rock, Jeff Buckley, Marillion, Big & Rich, Country & Nick Drake. This is a hard album to categorize & pigeon hole which in this day & age of labels & boxes is a good thing.'

Planetmosh reviewed the album with the following comment:
'The album is full of great guitar work, but Chantel McGregor isn’t just a guitar player – she does the vocals too and they are equally impressive. She’s got a great voice and the variety of songs on the album allows her to demonstrate a range of styles vocally. It really is a great album.'

The single, Take The Power, was playlisted for 5 weeks on Planet Rock radio.

Chantel has recently been interviewed for features on Sky News, BBC Radio Five Live and BBC Radio Four.

In December 2018, Chantel launched her own Podcast, which has been very successful, earning a place in the iTunes Podcast Charts.

Vambo’s inspiration stems back to the hard rock of the 70s, at the same time they remain contemporary in both songwriting and recording.

Vambo are – Jack Stiles, vocals, a compelling stage presence with an undeniable centre stage magnetism and a powerhouse voice and range to match. Pete Lance, guitar, a captivating performer coupled with outstanding, natural guitar playing skills. Steve Price, drums, a superb technician and the driving force behind the power and the subtleties that are Vambo trademarks. James Scott, bass, an outstanding musician, his fluid and imaginative bass lines underpin every vambo performance adding energy, quality and depth.

Their material is organic, dynamic and overflowing with raw energy and power reflecting the outstanding musicality within the band. Great, original rock music performed by 4 musicians of the highest calibre.
Melodic hard rock band Scarlet Rebels were formed from the foundations of Welsh rock band V0iD. The band have released three official albums under the name of V0iD – Ballads For Beauties And Beasts (2009), Zer0 (2010) and Keep Fighting (2015). In 2018, singer-songwriter Wayne Doyle, energetic and powerhouse drummer Gary Doyle and harmonic, rhythmic bassist Wayne ‘Pricey’ Esmonde we’re joined by blistering lead guitarist Chris Jones and on second guitar/keyboards, Josh Townshend, who has rock royalty flowing through his veins, being the son of The Who guitarist Simon Townshend and the nephew of rock icon Pete Townshend. And with the re-energised and re-imagined line-up came a new name – SCARLET REBELS ‘Show Your Colours’ is the debut album by Scarlet Rebel, showcasing an array of songwriting talent, coupled with real sonic weight, making it a stunning record from start to finish, never losing the focus that the song is always served best. With the expert ears of Tim Hamill (Lemmy, Girlschool, George Michael) controlling the desk, the recording process started with drums and rhythm guitars before then handing over to the rest of the band to put their stamp on the songs. The outcome was 14 songs of soaring melodies, anthemic choruses, blistering guitars and heavy-duty drums. Scarlet Rebels prove on this album that songwriting, melodies, guitars, solos, bass and drums won’t ever go out of fashion.

"Styling out through bluesy riffage and soulful vocals that seem to be channelled way beyond Loz's years. She writes engaging songs that flow through rock, pop and straight up good vibes and heartbreaking times. One to watch!" – Jumbo Records

Her acclaimed album "Green Eyes" featured in RnR magazine & has strong links to bands such as Nirvana & Garbage, launching the band onto stages such as the O2 Academy Leeds/Sheffield & joining Lioness & Broken Witt Rebels as special guest on UK tours.
