started off at the end of the sixties, called it a day towards
the end of the seventies, then in the early eighties realized
they could do nothing better than get together again. They have
been through more lineups than you can shake a stick at, with
various members coming and going at a rate which gives Pete
Frame nightmares. (Pete loved Deke's books, by the way). Micky,
Martin and Deke have pretty much been the core of the Manband,
though a while back Terry Williams had another spell after John

and Phil Ryan returned for a brief period after a 20 year
award winning Blues Rock Guitarist, Luke Doherty, started
playing Festivals when he was twelve years old, and 10 years
later, he hasn’t looked back. After achieving a Rock School

Luke is never happier than when he is playing Blues.
It all started when he was 7 years old and he found an old music
VHS in a cupboard featuring several Blues players. He was
enthralled with the playing of Eric Clapton and B.B King, both
of which he was extremely honoured to meet a few years later.
Over time he also met the great Peter Green, Jeff Healey and
Andy Fairweather-Low, and John Mayell which enlightened his
passion for Blues even more.
Luke has been truly blessed to
share the stage with many fine Blues rock artists including,
Ansley Lister, Danny Bryant, Virgil and the Accelerators, Connie
Lush, Mike Estes of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Skinny Molly, As well as
the Legendary Buddy Whittington, who told the crowd when Luke
was on stage with him “This is how the Blues should be played”.
2015 was an exciting time for Luke and his band with the
release of their all originals album “Six Strings and a
Stetson”. The album has been played all around the world and to
rave reviews. With such enthusiasm from the public about the
album it has propelled them to go back into the studio to start
on another long awaited second all original album, which they
hope will be available very soon.

“These guys are the rock fans favourite blues band and the blues
fans favourite rock band”. So read a 2016 review of the band’s
debut album “30 Day Hop” and the guys in Thr3e could not have
put it any better themselves. Powerhouse blues rock songs,
written by the band and performed with energy, feeling and
passion. That is Thr3e. A style firmly rooted in 60s/70s British
blues but with influences ranging widely from the old blues
originals to more recent US and British rock and blues, Thr3e do
not try to fit in to any “genre”. They just write great songs
about what happens in their world and play them from the heart.

band’s vocal and guitar power. Rik King now completes the
line-up on bass and vocals for the foreseeable future. A few
live shows are booked for 2017/18 with more to be confirmed, and
the band is already writing songs for a second album planned for

in 2011, SKAM are a hard rock power trio band from the middle of
England. They have a reputation for delivering no nonsense,
gutsy, classic sounding British rock music. Over the last 9
years, the band have worked tirelessly to build a solid
following in the UK, and now they are widely considered to be at
the forefront of the ‘New Wave of Classic Rock’ movement that is
currently sweeping the nation. To date, the band have
independently released 3 albums. ‘It’s Come to This’ (2011) and
‘Peacemaker’ (2014) were released to critical acclaim and the
band established themselves as a live force to be reckoned with.
The band have hit road with The Answer, Airbourne, Skindred, The
Quireboys, and GUN to name a few and are considered a formidable
live act. A drive to innovate inspired SKAM to release ‘The
Amazing Memoirs of Geoffrey Goddard’ (2017), a concept record
based on the diary entries of a time travelling RAF pilot. The
songs were described as ‘gritty anthemic rockers’ by Classic
Rock Magazine and the album received a number of 5 star reviews
from the UK Music press. SKAM don’t write songs to a formula,
they write songs as rock fans, trying to capture what they would
want to hear. Lead single ‘Take it Or Leave it’ was voted as
‘track of the week’ by Classic Rock Magazine and has since been
included on Earache Records ‘New Wave of Rock N Roll’
compilation vinyl. And now in 2020, coming up to their 10th
anniversary, SKAM are working on their 4th release.

A female guitar prodigy, at fourteen Chantel was told by major
labels that she had a "great voice, but girls don't play guitar
like that!" Wisely ignoring the comments, she enrolled at the
Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the
college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18

In previous years, Chantel stepped out in the pro-musician world
and her stunning live performances demonstrated that she had the
ability to perform rock for the new age, played by a musician
born with an effortless virtuosity. Since then, she has built a
loyal and growing fan base who follow her every move.
If you measure an artist’s prospects by the company they keep,
then Chantel has been moving in the right direction. Early in
her career, Chantel was invited to perform with Joe Bonamassa,
on two of his UK tours.
When Chantel released her 2011 debut album, Like No Other, one
critic said, “Chantel McGregor deserves to be held up as a
messiah of blues-rock and given her own mountain. She doesn't
strum or pick her guitar but almost bends and distorts it, as if
she's channelling the ghost of Hendrix through her fingers"
The album was produced by Livingstone Brown, whose production
credits include Ed Sheeran, Robin Trower, and Shakira. The end
result was a beautifully crafted debut album that showcased
Chantel’s versatility and talent as a singer-songwriter.
Chantel’s follow up album, Like Control, again produced by
Livingstone Brown, was released in October 2015 to critical
All About Rock’s review of the album said:
'The album in its entirety has a common theme running through of
gothic imagery which makes it almost a concept album but each
track stands out on its own. Chantel’s double tracked vocals are
amazingly tight & the production on this album sounds loose
which is a compliment to Livingstone Brown & Chantel who have
obviously spent a lot of time on the arrangements. The girl can
obviously shred but she does so in a very understated & despite
the title of the album, a controlled way. Recommended for fans
of blues, rock, Jeff Buckley, Marillion, Big & Rich, Country &
Nick Drake. This is a hard album to categorize & pigeon hole
which in this day & age of labels & boxes is a good thing.'
Planetmosh reviewed the album with the following comment:
'The album is full of great guitar work, but Chantel McGregor
isn’t just a guitar player – she does the vocals too and they
are equally impressive. She’s got a great voice and the variety
of songs on the album allows her to demonstrate a range of
styles vocally. It really is a great album.'
The single, Take The Power, was playlisted for 5 weeks on Planet
Chantel has recently been interviewed for features on Sky News,
